uh I need some HED say uh i need some HED

"Hed P.E." you hear the dudes chant as the female voices add to the uproar "WHAT!?".
This chant carries on throughout the night filling every silence in between songs with some more noise.
Thats only one of the many things you gotta expect when HED P.E. comes to tear apart your town. Then you got pits, crowd surfers, stagediving, Product shooting flames with spray paint, rants about how fucked up religion, government and the public school systems are today.. ya know... the usual......Pure Fucking Energy
Hed P.E. is a band that hit the mainstream once. They were on a big label, but didn't like what they were being created to be so they dug back underground and signed with Suburban Noize Records, which is also the home for the likes of The Dirtball, Big B, OPM, Kingspade and the KOTTONMOUTH KINGS.
Their genre is unique as well. They have influences of hip hop, punk rock and even metal. It all adds together to make an incredible combination.
They claim to be the Leaders in the truth movement and who is going to stop them? They do a pretty damn good job exposing the shit thats wrong with the world and not letting anyone censor or tell them what they can or cannot say. They came to spit the truth, and they'll make sure their voice is heard.
Along with there most recent release, THE D.I.Y. GUYS, came a few new tracks that will be featured on their new album NEW WORLD ORPHANS.. Which plays with the acronym N.W.O.. If your informed about this topic... Like lead singer Jared said..
"If you dont know what im talkin about, Wikipedia that shit"
Anyway, once again HED P.E. does not fail to point out faults in our nations government. As you can hear in the track below. If you are new to their music, I strongly suggest you listen. If you already know about them they take the new track for a spin labeled Ordo Ab Chao meaning Order Out Of Chaos..
IF YOU ARE TOO LAZY TO READ ALL THAT THEN JUST CLICK BELOW AND GIVE THEM A LISTEN!
and of course. If you like what you hear go to myspace.com.... click on that little thing that says music, and in the search bar type in Hed P.E.
Thanks For Reading
To Kill A Mouse Pt. 3
I of course was amazed at the total freaking awesomness of the question that I had no choice but to write about it... SO here goes the entry I made into our Young Authors journal that I thought I'd share....
I would probably use Death Metal to kill a mouse. I don't know about you, but I can't see a mouse listeneing to those thrashing guitars and growling, sometimes barking vocals. Expecially if he was a Hood Rat.
But maybe, just maybe, you'll catch a mouse in the pit headbanging to some Lamg Of God or Cradle Of Filth. In that case I would play some Chris Brown or something of that sort because I believe listening to that crap for extensive amounts of time can make a grown MAN want to kill themself so why not a mouse, since there smaller.
Also.. For HARDCORE Rock mouses. Which are even rarer now-a-days, with all these poser mice, they might think Hip Hop is totally stupid.
"Life Is Like Candy, You Gotta Throw Out All The Rappers"
In that case I'd play some Lil Wayne. With his waaaaaay past annoying voice, his stupid metaphors that everybody thinks are "so sick", his overly overrated-ness, and all that coming from a dude who looks like Kermit The Frog with dreds. You can't blame it for wanting to jump off a cliff.

To Kill a Mouse Pt. 2...
The first site I went to was: http://www.edu-cyberpg.com/Music/Mice_and_Music_Experiment_Mo.html
Apparently a kid named David Merrell did a science experiment on 70 mice...according to him, heavy metal makes killer mice....yes fuckin KILLER MICE! what the hell.
In order to do the experiment, David used a maze and hard-rock music. First he figured out how long it took the mice to go through the maze and that was 10 minutes. Once he figured that out, he started playing music for the mice for 10 hours a day and he put the mice through the maze 3 times a week for three weeks. David split all the mice up into three groups...one group didn't listen to music....another group listened to Mozart...and the other hard-rock/heavy metal. The mice that didn't listen to music we able to get through the maze 5 minutes faster...the Mozart mice 8 1/2 minutes faster...and the heavy metal mice took effin 20 minutes longer!! So I guess he figured that the heavy metal made the mice more dumb....what does this have to do with killing mice? NOTHING! BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT!? THE HEAVY METAL MICE DIDN'T DIE!....they killed eachother....that's why David's experiment had to get cut short....damn.
HOWEVER! I did find an article about killing mice with techno music: http://www.neoflux.com/archive/data/2001/1108-194400.shtml
METH+PRODIGY=MICE DEATH...I love it.
Basically some scientists gave fuckin meth to mice and played them The Prodigy until they couldn't take anymore!!! Out of 40 mice, 7 died...but still. This was a study to show how loud repetitive techno music enhances drugs....mice on meth and coke havin their own little raves...I can just picture it.
Kay I'm done talkin about this because it's starting to get weird to me...
To Kill a Mouse...
Sittin in class
Wondering why
Time doesn't pass
Teacher is talkin
"Wha Wha" Is all I hear
Until something very interesting caught my ear
MPR...
Blah
Blah
Kill a mouse with music...
My eyes lit up
"Now that's what's up!"
I thought in my head
I just giggled at the sight of a mouse dead
Lying on the floor
Music full blast
Seizing
Shaking
But it wouldn't last.
Soon it would be motionless
It passed the test
I didn't think this could happen
I pictured a cartoon mouse with X's over its eyes
And I just started laughin!
It wouldn't leave my mind
This act I had to try
If scientists can do it, then so can I!
What music would I use?
What sound would I choose?
Loud and screeching?
Soft and soothing?
No.
Something heavy
Something dark
Like the theme music of a shark?
No.
Maybe screamo
Or Opera
A mix of the two?
The sound of a killer whale...
The song of a Jew?
Maybe...
Just maybe...
Let me find a mouse
I want one to come
I'd be all like "YEAH MOUSE! COME AND GET SOME!"
It will try to run
But that won't spoil my fun.
A stomp on the tail
Then tape to its back
It's trapped, no escape
Like the fall of a superhero with a cape.
The flick of a switch
The turn of a knob
"YOUR MINE NOW BITCH!" I'd yell over F.O.B
And then it happens
The life line flattens
The mission is done.
YAY I WON!
End.

JEW.
PEACE AND JEW!<3
Is God Selfish? (and other things)
Anyway, I was little and it pissed me off that the lady suppose to teach me about religion couldn't tell me what I wanted to know about it.. I failed all the tests and all that stuff so I obviously wasn't interested in Noah and his dumbass ship or anything else.. I always joked about the movies we watched and was the only one always in trouble. I DIDNT CARE, but the ONE question I ask..... Couldn't be Answered
Anyway.. Then we got further in the convo and he said something that really hit me. And was like Damn dude.. We were talkin about beliefs... And how someone who commented the Norma Jean song was like "Ok if you dont believe in Jesus or the Bible, you gotta at least have respect for him being a great man and for what he did for people". Then I said "Well don't you gotta believe in the Bible to believe in Jesus.?" Saying "oh I dont believe in it but I believe in Jesus" is like admitting your in special ed cuz thats all that damn book is about... A fictional character named Jesus.. Then my dad was like "Yea you gotta believe in the Bible to respect Jesus" and I was like "But you gotta believe in him to believe in the Bible". He re-entered the room and agreed and then was like.... "Do you respect my brother Sal?" (Sal is my dads bro who passed away) and I said "Well yea he was your brother.....But its not like I can respect anything he has done because I have not actually witnessed it, I only hear STORIES" He was like "Exactly".
Then something else was said and he snapped. he was like...
"I lost my mother, my sister, and my brother. My dad, well he was older so maybe it was his time. My sister was 2. My brother was young and my mother was young. Why did she have to go? People said, oh she's in a better place. God wanted her.
There was 350 people that wanted her down here so Why does HE get the say, is he that selfish.!?!?"
I thought that was strong as diamonds. It made me think.. And now I'll pass it on for all you to think about as well.

Random Lyrics Of The Day
Anywho. I found these lyrics REALLY FREAKIN TIGHT. Norma Jean took an approach I have never seen before and put them selfs IN Jesus's shoes.....or sandles... or whatever he wore. Check it.
Norma Jean - The Shotgun Message
staring at the world through the hole you put in my hand
that was caused by a blade you gently inserted
i did this for you
not for your religion, not for your patterns
i did this for you
i did this for a man like you
stop searching and find me
i am stabbed by grace and slinging blood

Random Lyrics Of The Day
Anyway like I said Help would be much appreciated on the meaning or ANY HINT toward the meaning of this song... It sounds dope as shit, and yall should check it out fasho but I seriously have no idea and its been bothering me for quite sometime now.
Sky Eats Airplane - The Messanger
The messenger came out of nowhere.
The name was clear, yet unreachable
All around us and we never even thought to look, it is tearing us apart.
This is Fact, the message is clear.
You cannot deny it.
They are here.
The reminder was vague,Oh the lesson so glorious
Our hearts were made
For a much higher purpose
You wouldnt think everything happens for a reason.
The greet,
The meet,
The kiss,
The fight,
The break,
The tears,
The lies,
The knife.
Stay away from the emergency exit,
we aren’t quite done yet.
We're staring and staring and staring into those blank eyes.
It is burning
The messenger was here.
Be careful of that mind of yours, they say.
It can play tricks on you when your lead astray.
Pollute the mind and your asking for it.
Thinking that life matters is an understatement.
There is a larger war going on than guns and missiles,
and it is too close for comfort.
I have found deeper meaning in this game.
I have found deeper meaning.
And I am scared to hell because of it.
But I know, I will not look away.
Fear is another way of saying that you too have realized, the deep secrets of mankind.
And is there a reward for winning the game?
You will simply, be left behind.
This is the fact.
The message is clear.
You cannot deny it.
He is here.
fuck glow in the dark its all about the GOLDRUSH...
blastin off on her im pretty positive first tour of the states.. Some consider her the M.I.A. of the states... I beg to differ. I still love her music, but in my opinion theres not much quite like Maya.. Now a M.I.A. Santogold concert would be something to see. Some people may think she sounds a little like Maya because of some of her production. Diplo and Switch contribute to both of these artists production. The two are also said to be friends. Santi posted pics of this dynamic duo on her myspace. Like this one...... ( IDK how to do that cool text wrap around a pic like Kiera. sorry)

Is Apple always out to screw us?
The iPhone...
Starts at $199 and a eye-popping bill along with it....AND GUESS WHAT! There's gonna be an even newer generation coming out preeetty soon.
There are like 50 new generations of iPod popping out every year!
Real talk though...I want the new nano....i think its the colors that just appeal to me....call me a hypo! =P
A.U.A
Is it new album season, or what? It seems like everyone is following the trend of droppin the new stuff fall 08', but there are a few personally that I've been waiting for FOREVER!
Take Jack's Mannequin for instance...I always loved "The Mixed Tape" (You may recognize it as the theme song for One Tree Hill)...but I fell in love with them...mostly Andrew, when I saw them perform at Milwaukee Summerfest in 07'. It seems so long ago when I didn't even know that the lead vocalist's name was NOT Jack...lol
That Jager drinkin on stage, piano lovemakin , bad mouthin the president sonovaANDREW...left me in awe. Seeing him perform is something you wouldn't want to miss.
They aren't what most would consider HxC...just a warning.
The lead singer, Andrew, was in a band before Jack's Mannequin called Something Corporate...then he got cancer, but apparently that hasn't slowed him down. You all should listen to a song called "Astronaut" by them. It's not REALLY about space....it's about needing to feel highhhh.
I digress....the new album is coming out on September 30 and its called "The Glass Passenger"...y?...who knows. All I know is it better be great. I can't handle another dissapointment....ESPECIALLY from them.
They are still on tour, so go see them! (So happy they're coming to Chicago again!!)

If you love mash ups and remixes you would love Gregg. (DJ of Girl Talk) You will find a little a bit of everything in the mixes and that's what I love about it....you'll get Busta Rhymes with The Police....but it sounds effin great. You can hear Girl Talk's entire new album, "Feed the Animals", which doesn't drop until September 23rd, on the space! www.myspace.com/girltalk
And Gregg is so nice, that he is letting anyone buy his CD for whatever price they want! (Yes, you can get it for free.) Of course, the more you pay for it, the more perks you get with it though...
Listen. Now....I'm just gonna end it with the tour dates now because it's early and I'm getting hella lazyyy!=P

Brands Yall Aint Even Heard Of Yet V.1
the art of Chris Whisby
Ive been thinkin bout doin this for a while. A blog about different brands that people SHOULD know about. The Blog title might change.. I dont think I like it.. I dont know yet.. But its just for now. well lets get this show on the road
Lets start off big. Chris Whisby.. Man this dude got skills.. His art is in-freaking-credible, and his T-Shirts show the same amazing-ness. But seriously. This dude designs dark-ish feeling shirts while still being fashionable. Usually people who are big on fashion stray away from dark clothes, but this brings everything together.. Where else are you gonna find shirts as gangster, "thug", rock, punk, deep, dark, and sick as this? Nowhere. There is no other combination quite like this. If you talk to me alot you probably heard about the shoe show I went to last year; the DunkXchange. This was the first time I saw this dudes T-shirts and I instantly fell in love with the designs, I wont lie. I bought one and couldn't help but pick another up on my way out. I can honestly say that his shirts were one of the main things that caught my attention at the show besides trying to dodge the free Terror Squad tshirts being thrown over head.
Oh and did I mention this guy reps the CHI?
Lets start with some of his artwork:

He said he still fears this one
As you can see. Hella skills. Look at the detail, and... I don't even know.. Even after looking at the pics over and over again I'm still at a loss of words. I have no idea how to put into words how much I like these piecies. Straight ill. I don't know what else to say.
Now moving along to the clothing.. Which is equally sick.. You have probably seen me sporting a few of these.

Reppin the Windy City
And you can't tell me you wouldn't cop these if they dropped

The man behind the pen....Chris Whisby

And just cuz I thought it was cool he put this on his myspace... This is me, my mom and Chris at the DunkXchange CHICAGO

Support Chris and his art, and purchase a T-shirt at
http://www.exist1.com/
while your at it. Peep his myspace
http://www.myspace.com/exist1
Ill be back to hit you up with more clothes you should know.... Maybe Ill change the name to that.. Whatever. I dont know if ill be back today or whenever, but I will.
Till Next Time...
