Ok so I showed my dad the lyrics to The Shotgun Message by Norma Jean. The same ones I posted here which sparked religious talk between me and him. And about the other planets and alotta other stuff.. Like people are always like, God created Earth and everything on it.... So one time maybe around the 3rd and 4th grade I started questioning religion. I asked my CCD teather. "So if God created Earth and everything on it, where did the other planets come from and whats there reason?"... Well I got no response and she moved straight over my question. Then like a year later I almost got kicked out for cussing out a teacher......oops.
Anyway, I was little and it pissed me off that the lady suppose to teach me about religion couldn't tell me what I wanted to know about it.. I failed all the tests and all that stuff so I obviously wasn't interested in Noah and his dumbass ship or anything else.. I always joked about the movies we watched and was the only one always in trouble. I DIDNT CARE, but the ONE question I ask..... Couldn't be Answered
Anyway.. Then we got further in the convo and he said something that really hit me. And was like Damn dude.. We were talkin about beliefs... And how someone who commented the Norma Jean song was like "Ok if you dont believe in Jesus or the Bible, you gotta at least have respect for him being a great man and for what he did for people". Then I said "Well don't you gotta believe in the Bible to believe in Jesus.?" Saying "oh I dont believe in it but I believe in Jesus" is like admitting your in special ed cuz thats all that damn book is about... A fictional character named Jesus.. Then my dad was like "Yea you gotta believe in the Bible to respect Jesus" and I was like "But you gotta believe in him to believe in the Bible". He re-entered the room and agreed and then was like.... "Do you respect my brother Sal?" (Sal is my dads bro who passed away) and I said "Well yea he was your brother.....But its not like I can respect anything he has done because I have not actually witnessed it, I only hear STORIES" He was like "Exactly".
Then something else was said and he snapped. he was like...
"I lost my mother, my sister, and my brother. My dad, well he was older so maybe it was his time. My sister was 2. My brother was young and my mother was young. Why did she have to go? People said, oh she's in a better place. God wanted her.
There was 350 people that wanted her down here so Why does HE get the say, is he that selfish.!?!?"
I thought that was strong as diamonds. It made me think.. And now I'll pass it on for all you to think about as well.

Selfish? Nah. More like, he made you, and you started out with him anyways, so if and when he wants you back, he'll take you. And its not like you won't get to see the ones you love again after they die. There's eternal life in heaven:o) so u can see them when u get there! There is of course dat whole judgement thing tho, and that would determine if u get in heaven or not :oP but its all up to Him. Like one of the theives dat were next to him while he was being crucified. He apologized and asked for forgiveness of his sins, and wished that Jesus would grant him mercy on his soul( since he was also on a cross, about to die) Jesus replied, "i forgive u, and u shall come live with me in paradise" or something along those lines. So He's not selfish. He's got it ALL under control, because its His world. Just like sims. lol well, kinda :oP
